My love for decorating has always been a huge part of who I am, especially during the holidays. Halloween has always had my heart, and long before The Whimsical Spirit officially existed, my home holiday display, Terrors on Aspen, became one of the places where that love came to life. Every year, hundreds of people would stop, smile, take pictures, bring their families by, and look forward to seeing what we created next season. That display showed me something important: decorating is not just about making a space look pretty. It creates memories. It gives people something to look forward to. It brings neighbors together. It makes kids excited, adults nostalgic, and ordinary nights feel a little more magical. And honestly, I think we need more of that.

The world has felt heavier, especially lately. Everything costs more. Traditions can feel harder to keep up with. The spirit of the holidays does not always feel as bright as it used to, and more and more people are decorating less each year: not because they do not care, but because life is busy, expensive, and exhausting.
