Return & Refund Policy

At The Whimsical Spirit, every piece is carefully created, packed, and sent off with the hope that it brings a little extra magic to your home. Because many of our items are handmade, seasonal, limited-quantity, custom, or specially curated, all sales are final and returns are not accepted.

Refunds & Store Credit

We do not offer refunds to the original payment method. If a refund is approved, it will be issued in the form of store credit only.

Store credit may be used toward a future purchase at The Whimsical Spirit and is not redeemable for cash. Original shipping costs, delivery fees, installation fees, and service fees are non-refundable.

Damaged Items

If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 3 calendar days of delivery so we can make it right.

To review a damage claim, please include:

  • Your order number or proof of purchase
  • Clear photos of the damaged item
  • Clear photos of the shipping box and all original packaging materials
  • A brief description of the damage

Please keep the item, box, and all original packaging materials until your claim has been reviewed. These materials may be required for shipping carrier claims and must be available if the item needs to be sent back.

If the damage claim is approved, The Whimsical Spirit will determine the best resolution, which may include repairing the original item, replacing the item when possible, or issuing store credit. Because many designs are handmade or limited-quantity, an exact replacement may not always be available.

Return Shipping for Damaged Items

If a damaged item needs to be sent back for repair or replacement, return instructions will be provided after the claim is approved. Items sent back without prior approval may not be accepted.

The item must be returned with its original packaging materials whenever possible to help prevent further damage during transit.

Custom Orders, Services & Seasonal Items

Custom orders, personalized pieces, seasonal designs, sale items, clearance items, porch installations, in-home decorating services, and completed service-based work are final sale and are not eligible for returns or refunds.

If there is an issue with a custom order or service, please reach out as soon as possible so we can review the situation and determine whether a repair, adjustment, or store credit may be appropriate.

Incorrect or Missing Items

If you believe you received the wrong item or something is missing from your order, please contact us within 3 calendar days of delivery with your order number and photos of what you received. We will review the issue and work with you on the appropriate next step.

Covered Outdoor Use & Care

Many of our wreaths, door hangers, bows, porch pieces, and seasonal decor can be displayed outdoors, but they are best suited for covered outdoor areas such as a covered porch, patio, entryway, or door with some protection from the elements.

To help your piece last as long as possible, please avoid placing it in direct, prolonged sunlight, heavy rain, high winds, extreme heat, or other harsh weather conditions. Arizona sun, monsoon storms, and strong winds can be especially tough on decorative items, so bringing pieces indoors during severe weather is strongly recommended.

The Whimsical Spirit is not responsible for damage caused by improper handling, storage, weather exposure, theft, loss, fading, or normal wear and tear after an item has been delivered.
